What this service is

Limelight is an entertainment leaderboard. You may submit a photo, a title and a link, and visitors may vote for entries with likes. You may also buy boosts, which add points to your entry and therefore affect its position on this leaderboard.

A boost buys placement on Limelight and nothing else. It is not Instagram likes, followers, views or engagement. We do not access, modify or interact with your account on any other platform, and we are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Instagram or Meta Platforms, Inc.

Eligibility

You must be 18 or older to submit an entry or make a purchase. By submitting, you confirm you meet this requirement.

Your content

By submitting an entry you confirm that:

• You own the photo or have permission to publish it.
• Anyone identifiable in the photo has consented to it appearing here.
• The content is not sexual, hateful, harassing, violent, deceptive or unlawful.
• The link points to a profile or page you control.

You keep ownership of your photo. You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to display, resize and reproduce it for the purpose of operating and promoting the leaderboard, including in share cards and Hall of Fame records. This licence continues for Hall of Fame entries after your entry leaves the live board.

Photos are published immediately and are not reviewed beforehand. You are responsible for what you upload. We may remove any entry at any time, without notice and without refund, including for anything that breaches the content guidelines.

How ranking works

• Likes and boosts both add points. Position follows points.
• Boost points decay over time. This is a deliberate part of the design and is not a malfunction.
• No entry may hold first place for more than 72 hours in total. On reaching that limit, the entry retires to the Hall of Fame.
• Seasons reset weekly, clearing like-derived points.
• Changing your photo clears your like-derived points unless you pay to keep them. Purchased points are not cleared.

We may adjust these rules to keep the board fair and competitive. Any change applies going forward, never retroactively to points you have already bought.

Payments and refunds

Payments are processed by our payment provider, who acts as merchant of record. Prices are shown in US dollars and are the same everywhere.

Boosts are delivered instantly and are non-refundable. Because the points are applied to your position the moment payment clears, a purchase cannot be undone. We do not guarantee any particular rank, duration at a rank, click volume or outcome — other people can always outbid you, and boost points decay by design.

If we remove your entry for breaking these terms, you are not entitled to a refund of boosts already spent.

Prohibited behaviour

• Manipulating likes through automation, scripts, bought traffic or multiple devices intended to look like separate people.
• Impersonating another person or business.
• Submitting a photo you do not have the right to publish.
• Using the leaderboard to advertise unlawful goods or services.

We may remove entries, void points obtained through manipulation, and block access, without refund.

Liability

The service is provided as is. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim arose.
